# THALWAG Ocean Dashboard > A live, public chart of the northern Indian Ocean by THALWAG (https://thalwag.com), a research organisation in Kochi, India, building an ocean-observation network from India's fishing fleet. The dashboard shows, on one interactive chart of the Arabian Sea: - **Sea-surface temperature** — real, from NASA GIBS (GHRSST MUR L4), decoded to °C, with isotherms every 0.5 °C and a 30-day timeline. - **Argo floats** — real positions of autonomous profiling floats, via Argovis. - **Ocean currents** — real modelled surface velocity, from the E.U. Copernicus Marine Service. - **Coastline and depth contours** — Natural Earth (no political boundaries); 200 m shelf edge, 1 000, 2 000 and 4 000 m. - **THALWAG sensor nodes** — currently **simulated**: no THALWAG hardware is at sea yet. Every simulated reading is labelled SIMULATED and stored with an is_simulated flag; real readings are labelled LIVE. ## Links - [Live dashboard](https://dashboard.thalwag.com/) - [THALWAG — main site](https://thalwag.com/) - [THALWAG — site guide for AI assistants](https://thalwag.com/llms.txt) - [Open data and licence](https://thalwag.com/open-ocean/)
